Chandragupta (finales del s. IV - comienzos del s. III a. J.C.), rey de la India que resistió con éxito al general macedonio Seleuco I Nicátor. Otros dos reyes de la India llevaron este nombre: Chandragupta I (h. 320 d. J.C.) y Chandragupta II, rey de 375 () a 414, período del apogeo del Imperio gupta.
