Tipos Hexágono regular. Todos sus lados y ángulos son iguales. Cada ángulo interno mide 120°, y la suma de sus ángulos internos es 720° (calculado con la fórmula (n-2) × 180°, donde n = 6). Su área se calcula con la fórmula (Perímetro × Apotema) / 2 o (3√3 × lado²) / 2. Hexágono irregular. Sus lados y/o ángulos no son iguales. Hexágono cóncavo. Tiene al menos un ángulo interno mayor a 180°. Hexágono convexo. Todos sus ángulos internos son menores a 180°.
