Farmacología La quina es un medicamento febrífugo, antimalárico, neurotónico, estimulante y antiséptico. Se emplea principalmente como tónico en forma de polvo, extracto, tintura, jarabe, vino, etc.; y al exterior en infusión o cocimiento para el lavado de heridas y úlceras. La tintura de quina se empleó también contra la alopecia.
